In 2003 I began my career in the insurance industry working for a State Farm Agent in Plantation, Florida and later in 2017 I opened my State Farm Agency in Saint Johns. I am proud to serve the residence of St. Johns, the greater First Coast area and the state of Florida. At my agency my team and I can assist you with life insurance, home insurance, auto insurance, insurance for your business and much more, including financial services.

At 35 years of age my wife, Johanna and I were expecting our third child and second son. When Johanna was 8 months pregnant, I had quadruple bypass surgery to save my life. Due to this experience, I have a unique outlook on life, the time I spend with my family, my faith, giving back to my community and the role life insurance can play for a family. Had my heart issues not been discovered and a heart attack taken my life, Johanna and my children would have been financially secure because of the steps I had taken to protect them with life insurance. I grew up in Hollywood, Florida and met the love of my life Johanna in 7th grade. We have been married for 23 years and have three amazing children. A recent high school graduate who plans to pursue a career in aviation, a high school sophomore and a 7th grader. We have called the First Coast home since 2005 and love the lifestyle this part of the state has to offer. Our two sons and daughter keep us busy with numerous activities at church, sports and life in general, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. In the past I have enjoyed coaching my sons in Upward Football and all three in Upward Basketball. Johanna is the most amazing mom to our children and has always wanted to share her love with more than just our three. In 2020 we became licensed Foster Parents and have had the opportunity of opening our home and our hearts to foster and respite placements.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Liberty University. After college I worked as an intern in the Community Relations Department for the professional football team in Charlotte North Carolina. I then returned home to South Florida to work for the professional baseball team in Miami in Customer Service, Marketing and Broadcasting. I have many fond memories of my time working in professional sports but have never looked back when my career turned towards insurance.

Giving back to our community and supporting organizations we have a strong connection to are important to me. Locally we support Fostering Hope a support group for Foster Families and the Upward Sports program at Fruit Cove Baptist Church. We also support global initiatives that provide humanitarian relief. I have made multiple trips to the Horn of Africa to see the needs and how our support is impacting the lives of others.
